What are perennials?

Perennial means it comes back year after year. Going dormant in the winter just to resurface again in the spring. Perennials often provide reliable blooms and foliage while also providing to our ecosystem through pollinators.

Black-eyed Susan, Coneflower, Aster, Woodland Phlox, Little Bluestem, and SO MANY MORE!

Nepeta, Coreopsis, Coneflower, Salvia… Pro-Tip: Want longer blooms? Deadhead spent flowers to encourage new ones to push out!

Astilbe (top performer), Brunnera, Coral Bell, Hosta, & Hellebore

Spring, summer, Fall! Give them lots of water!!

Do perennials need to be cut back?

Most perennials should be cut back in the Fall or Spring. BUT, we suggest leaving it until spring to allow pollinators to rest / fuel up!

Coneflower, Black-eyed Susan, Salvia, Dianthus, & Lavender are just some of the many pollinator friendly perennials.

Nepeta, Sage, Allium, Yarrow, Bee Balm, Anemone, Brunnera, & more!

We sure do! One of our owners holds a degree in Horticulture and Landscape Design.

Perennials come back year after year. Annuals die in the winter and will not come back.
